London Fashion Week FW26: KSENIASCHNAIDER Turns Denim into Concept in “Denim Workshop”

KSENIASCHNAIDER brought a materials-first experiment to London Fashion Week with FW26 “Denim Workshop,” a collection that treats denim not simply as fabric, but as a design system. The season expands the brand’s long-standing denim obsession into engineered constructions and surreal shifts in function, positioning denim as a tool for creative exploration.

Denim is presented in multiple forms—knit, print, quilting and reconstruction—often detached from traditional denim cloth. Knitted jeans and jackets reproduce classic denim logic in yarn, while technical puffers, skirts and shorts use insulated fabrics finished with hyper-real denim imagery, making visual illusion central to the collection’s language.

A major detail thread is the reworking of denim’s signature gold topstitching. Instead of serving construction alone, stitching becomes ornament and line-work, tracing the silhouettes of denim garments across both womenswear and menswear. The collection also expands into new sustainable materials such as BROD-X, developed using recycled denim waste.

Menswear returns through an enlarged Multipocket direction linked to Anton Schnaider’s original KSENIASCHNAIDER Men line. Utility compartments multiply across jeans, shirts and jackets, turning garments into modular storage systems and pushing function into an aesthetic statement.

Elsewhere, Cubic Denim evolves with recycled and patchworked versions, keeping the boxy, architectural silhouette that has become a brand signature. FW26 also continues the KSENIASCHNAIDER × Lee Cooper collaboration, connecting Lee Cooper’s British denim legacy with KSENIASCHNAIDER’s reconstruction-driven manipulation.

In a further partnership, Nemiroff appears via a new accessory: a bottle holder based on the Platform Bag, shifting an everyday object into something performative and slightly surreal.

KSENIASCHNAIDER frames FW26 with a new manifesto—“cool denim and nonsense tricks”—signalling a sharpened brand direction from 2026 while staying loyal to denim as both foundation and experiment.
