During London Fashion Week on 19 February 2026, Lagos-founded luxury house Bibi Lawrence showcased a concise sculptural couture edit from its Oge Ntoju collection at St John’s Church, Hyde Park, continuing its expansion into the UK fashion scene.
The presentation highlighted the house’s distinctive approach to modern African luxury, defined by architectural silhouettes, refined surface work and a sculptural vision of femininity.
“Oge Ntoju,” an Igbo expression meaning a season of abundance and fullness, framed the collection’s themes of prosperity, growth and flourishing. Florals functioned as structural symbols—built into dimensional forms that communicated becoming, expansion and beauty.
Two couture looks anchored the London edit.
The Orchid Dress presented a corseted silk gown with a hand-painted orchid element sweeping along the hem. Hand-stitched raffia braiding at the bust and raffia-covered spherical sleeve embellishments introduced tactile organic texture while maintaining sharp structural precision.
The Rose Dress built a corseted silhouette around layered rose-petal formations that sculpted the bust and framed the hips, creating a three-dimensional bloom. A fluid fringe hem was engineered for rhythmic movement, bringing softness and life into a controlled architectural shape.
Together, the paired looks reinforced Bibi Lawrence’s design philosophy—strength and softness held in balance through couture technique and floral form.
