London Fashion Week A/W26: Claudia Wang Turns Online Culture into a Runway Fairytale

Designer Claudia Wang delivered a “digital fairytale” at London Fashion Week A/W26, staging her presentation in a dreamlike environment of pillow-like mounds draped in delicate, custom-made prints. Models appeared as if emerging from a soft-focus world, reinforcing the collection’s theme of fantasy, intimacy and modern femininity.

Rooted in the imagery of the internet and the aesthetics of the virtual realm, the collection converts screen-native ideas into tactile, romantic clothing. Wang paired hand-drawn unicorn artwork with AI-generated laces and bows, while botanical and animal motifs—set against a fresh colour palette—created a visual language that feels playful yet composed.

The silhouettes stayed relaxed, reimagining robes and sleepwear-inspired forms as day-to-evening fashion statements. Rather than presenting garments in isolation, the show framed clothing as an emotional language—one that can hold softness and strength, vulnerability and confidence, at the same time.

Wang’s A/W26 universe extended beyond the runway looks, embedding coded details for a generation shaped by online life and imagination-driven identity.
