Miss Unique of the World 2026 redefined modern beauty through individuality in Monaco

Miss Unique of the World 2026 staged its international final in Monaco on 28 March 2026, bringing together women from across Europe for a competition built around individuality, self-expression and personal presence.

Rather than following the traditional beauty pageant formula, the project positions itself as a modern platform for women with distinct identities, backgrounds and personal stories. Its focus is not on standardised beauty, but on charisma, emotional intelligence, confidence and the ability to communicate a sense of self.

Created by producer and event manager Marina Just in collaboration with Paris-based model scout Anna Shmaliy, Miss Unique of the World has developed as a digital global platform, with participants completing stages remotely before gathering in Monaco for the final gala.

The Monaco edition unfolded at Le Méridien Beach Plaza, where the programme combined runway presentation, artistic performance, guest appearances and the official award ceremony. A private after-party followed, creating space for finalists, partners, creatives and industry guests to connect in a more intimate setting.

Fashion played a central role in the evening. Designer Semenenko presented an exclusive runway showcase, adding an editorial dimension to the competition through refined silhouettes and expressive styling. The show helped move the event beyond the idea of a pageant and closer to a complete fashion and cultural experience.

The title of Miss Unique of the World 2026 was awarded to Alina Omelchuk. Ruslana Ilina became 1st Runner-Up, while Karina Görtz was named 2nd Runner-Up. Petra Kladovova received the Audience Choice Award, and Sofia Mladina was honoured with the Eco Diamond Award.

The jury reflected the project’s international scope, bringing together figures from fashion, beauty, sport, business and media. It included Princess Lea Elfara, Gulshat Fauché of LUXPRO Monaco, Daniel Fauché, Olympic vice-champion and world champion in rowing, Alexander Seleznev, Kostiantyn Lieontiev, founder of Odessa Fashion Day and London Fashion Day, Raisa Arseni and Maxim Ezhov.

The partner network included fashion, media and creative platforms such as LUXPRO Monaco, Character Paris, VOUS Magazine, JSH Event Management Dubai, Unikat Models, London Fashion Day, Fashion Frontier and other international collaborators.

For a project centred on uniqueness, the Monaco final showed how beauty events are changing. The emphasis is shifting from polished conformity to personal narrative, from external perfection to identity, and from competition alone to a wider space for fashion, visibility and self-branding.

The next edition of Miss Unique of the World is planned for Venice in February 2027, where the organisers are preparing a new stage of international development.

Fashion Frontier is a London-based digital fashion magazine exploring the edge of modern style, creativity, and culture. The platform features designer lookbooks, runway reports, event coverage, and stories redefining the future of fashion in the UK and beyond.
